Thank you ππ» Penguin and Piglet 22 for your reply's ππ»
Piglet22....your experience leaves me feeling disappointed with Medical fraternity past and present π
I leave in Australia and I feel lucky that this things {medical} are the best you can hope for in this volatile state of humanity! I was born in Slovenia....came here when I was 20πΌ
My "event" occurred in 2016 basically out of the blue. Unfortunately I was on the small foldable bicycle so I sustained moderate head injury in the process. No prior history of ♥οΈ issues and we were {my husband} about 1 hour away from hospitals. I have no memory of the event and it took 2 hours before reaching the hospital {apparently they have to "work" on me. While in the hospital my heart suddenly stopped beating and this is how my Pacemaker came to be....diagnosis: Ventricular standstill and Bradycardia! To this day I still think π€ that all that happened on that day {10/04/2016} was a blessing in disguise ππ» Life goes on un-interrupted π...however I lots my taste π and smell due to my head injuries. Being pragmatist I don't dwell on it....at least I can remember how thing's use to tasteπ€ ....I don't have home monitor or have any medications....this farβοΈ my next appointment is in early Dec and plan to start the "debate" around this with Cardiologist .
Piglet22 I hope and wish your future procedures go wellπ Life is always changing, hopefully we can change equally fast with it!? Not an easy task ππ or possibility....but HOPE must stay with usπ

My pacemaker was installed in 1998 and I have not felt better. The mental part is the toughest.
