Tomorrow will be 4 months for my Pace Maker. Haven't had any problems except early on with some pinching type pain around the site but that went away and probably was nerve related.
But this morning something weird happened. All of a sudden I am feeling my heart beating right behind (or maybe in front of) the Pace Maker location. Never happened before. It felt like it was racing but when I took my pulse it was about 84. It went away in about three or four minutes. Anyone else experience this pulsating sensation at the pace maker site?

You know you're wired when...
You have an excuse for gaining an extra ounce or two.

But I think it will make me feel a lot better. My stamina to walk is already better, even right after surgery. They had me walk all around the floor before they would release me. I did so without being exhausted and winded the way I had been.

I have Atrial fib and the symptoms are similar to what you are feeling, the top section of the heart goes into fibrilation, fluttering pounding and bumping away but the bottom part of the heart keeps going as normal, and your pulse comes from the bottom part so it seems as though everything is normal. The sensations are in the centre of my chest though and not anywhere near the pacer.
All the best, Ian.
