I have been going down memory lane

Hello everyone, I was chatting with another Pacemaker Club member recently about my travelling days in the early Seventies, yes 50 years ago.  (Australia, Papua New Guinea, Southern Africa).  I got out some old photo albums last night and scanned in a few pics which I have now uploaded to our Member Gallery (under Members Only, then Member Gallery) if you want to have a peep.

Don’t forget to upload any pics of yourselves from time to time.  We would all love to see them.  They don’t have to be pics only about pacemakers, your device wounds or device reports and the like.  Pics about your active lifestyle with your pacemakers are very welcome too.

Love the Taj Mahal movie star look. Reminds me of an Audrey Hepburn type pose so beautifully coiffed updo and dressed. 🧡💛

Very nice photos Gemita!

Now hubby is looking for his precious photos to digitise

Thank you New to Pace, Lavender and Flo.  Well I see I have got a few members to post in the gallery which is nice.

After 50 years my prints were firmly fixed to the album pages and deteriorating fast, so it was difficult to take them out for scanning.   If you treasure your old photos, it might be a good idea to digitise some of them.   Prints can become discoloured, water damaged, or accidentally torn or stained, but the digital versions will remain indefinitely pristine. They're also much easier to share with friends and family - and perhaps most important of all, you can create backups in case the originals get lost or damaged beyond repair.  Anyway I am working through some of mine
