my final update to Ian

At 3:30pm ESt today finally internet and Tv restored.  Has been out since Tuesday about the same time.  My home did not suffer .  Only one front downspout and the garage light tilled.  Did have electric, land phone and of course cell.

I am quite weary from both not sleeping well and have to rake up the fallen leaves and some short branches from the neighbors trees.

Not sure what the pacemaker thought since was defintely more excercise.  Then it was used to recording.

Thanks to everyone on  my other posts for their help in getting me through this.

Hope the others from Florida wared as well.

New to Pace, thank you for letting us know you are safe.   I was getting worried when I didn't hear from you.  Now I just need to hear from my other friend Marybird to know that she is safe too.

Welcome back New to Pace and hope you will sleep better now and fully recover from this awful experience.

glad to be safe

What a relief that you are safe Mary

Mary, I was beginning to fear the worst.  I am so relieved you survived such a long battle with Hurricane Ian and to know that you are safe and still have a home to live in.  It must have been frightening to have the storm threatening your home and to experience the destruction.  I hope your heart stayed relatively calm. I expect I would have had to call emergency services.

Yes, you will get through this but take your time and only do the essential repairs to keep you safe and dry.  I am glad you have lots of help nearby.  We both send our love and hope that things improve for you and the family and for all those around you as soon as possible xx

Welcome back

Marybird, good to hear from you. I can't imagine the cleanup and inconvenience to all! I'm still trying to hear from a friend in Naples. Florida is such a paradise-sad to see it trashed. I know that people will make super human efforts to restore things asap. (((Hugs)))
