Back again

Hi Pacers

Back home again in Tasmania after five weeks away in New Zealand touring the south and north Island. It was great to pack a bag and just relax. No kids, no gripes, no worries.

Our special time on the way back was spent in Melbourne with Rewired Aussie (Kay) Each time we saw each other we just laughed and laughed. Kay is a sure tonic for blowing away the blues. As you all know I suffer from depression. One hit with Kay and it tops up the dopamine in my brain to keep me going. Yep can't get by without Rewired. We have become great friends. It is something special for me as I live in the country and don't see many people. I really look forward to seeing Kay on my trips to Melbourne. Brian, my husband, and Kay's husband get on really well. We all went for a ferry trip across the bay for the day. The weather was really fine for us. Another day we met at the shopping centre and had lunch and shopped ourselves silly at our favourite places. Time to save up again.

I am off tomorrow to Hobart to see my Cardiac Specialist for a checkup and a pacemaker check. Keep your fingers crossed for me Pacers. I think everything is ok. My left ankle swells a bit and I could not buy some new long winter boots because they would not zip up on my left leg which seems to be bigger than my right leg.

Our spaniel went crazy when we arrived home and my old sheep who is over twelve was bellowing like mad when she saw us. It is good to be home again with my darling daughter and grandson . Cheers to all for now. Will post again later in the week. Keep happy, pace well, love to all. Billie

Billie,
You have a great way with words. I love to read your updates. I can envision your farm from your descriptions.

Hope your PM check goes well.

I finished 29th in London in 2 hours 20 minutes 30 seconds which is my fastest with or without a device so clearly it didn’t slow me down ! I had no problems apart from some slight chaffing on my scar - more Vaseline next time.
