Biotronik- CardioMessenger® Smart Transmitter

Hello everyone,

I received a call today from Biotronik. They are replacing my CardioMessenger® Smart Transmitter with their latest model which is now running on 4G. The one I currently have is 3G and will become obsolete as soon as the 4G system Is fully up and running. Anyhow for those who may have moved, or changed your number it might be a good idea to give them a call. They had my old address on file, but my correct phone number. I just thought I would share for those who have a Biotronik pacer. I pray everyone is well. All my best.

Hi Alejandro, just a minor niggle.  3G is going away very soon (Sprint has already shut their 3G netwok down). 4G has been around something like 10 years.  It's 5G that's building out now. It's going to take some time because its range is so low.  The numer of required cells is gianormous.

Your comment about making sure your personal information up to date is a good one. We should all think about any changes we've had since we got our monitors.

When she said 3G to 4G I thought the exact same thing. We are on 5G now but those were her words. I just thought to share either way. But yes agree we are on 5G these days! Lol!! Take care sir.
