Really nice to hear from you and seems like you are doing okay?  Welcome to the Pacemaker Club.

I have a dual lead Medtronic pacemaker for Sick Sinus Syndrome (tachy/brady).  Got mine in May 2018.  Cannot believe just how much better I feel with my little device and to think I was so scared to get one initially.

Care to share with us why you needed your device?  I hope you are healing well

Hello Nibbles  - I can't help but inquire about your fun user name... is there a story behind it that you'd like to share?

Funny.  Welcome to the club that no one wants to pay the membership fees but has paid their dues nevertheless.  Hope you're doing well and getting accustomed to your new bionic self.

The reason I got my PM/D was ejection fraction was 23 my RHR was 42 and I have a right bundle branch block, they got me out of Afib I have coronary artery disease.

As far as my user name goes many years ago there was a website that you put in your name and it would give you your squirrel name and I have used it ever since.

Thank you all for your Welcome.

You know you're wired when...

You have the perfect reason to show off your chest.

I am just now 40 but have had these blackouts all my life. I am thrilled with the pacer and would do it all over again.
