Love this community

Hi everyone!

I think I will officially take the title of being the youngest one on this forum. I have posted a few times here about my anxiety and that anxiety still persists but everytime it gets really bad, I read the comments on my old posts here. Everytime I do that it puts my mind and heart at ease. I am so lucky to have stumbled upon such an amazing and beautiful community. I have received nothing but love on here and I am so grateful for all of you. I'd love to be more active here, I just wish there was an app for this beautiful website. I would love to engage with all of you more and connect with you. This is a journey and I want to connect and be involved in my journey, leading a happy and fulfilling life. I would love to connect with anyone who wishes to on social media. My Facebook is Huzaif Qaisar. Lastly, I'd like to give a huge shoutout to @Tracey_E who has been incredibly kind to me and really really helped me. Tracey if you're reading this, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I would also like to thank all the wonderful people who commented on my last post especially @dwelch. D, your comment really made me emotional and I really appreciated it, thank you so much.

Sorry for the sob story everyone but I believe it's important to show gratitude. Hope to connect with you all more!

Huzaif,

Thank you for your kind, warm hearted comments.  I will have a look at your Facebook page, but you do not need Facebook or an App to connect with us, you must know that.  We are always here either when you are logged off or on.  We do not seem to get notified any more when we receive personal messages though and quite a few members have mentioned this too, so we must check to see what is going on.

We are always pleased to hear from members and we all genuinely want to help each other.  Sometimes we wish we could do more to relieve the pain, the fear, the doubt others feel as they start their journey with a pacemaker, but it takes time to get used to pacing and this part of our journey cannot be rushed.  This is a learning, changing experience which never stands still.  It develops just like nature we see around us.  All we can try to do is to sit by and be there for each other.  But by sharing our experiences we can help in some small way.  I too find this site a wonderful, safe community, full of interesting, knowledgeable, kind people.  The place where personal growth is also possible.

Therese

you are so very welcome!

You just made my morning. I'm so glad you are doing better! Sometimes it's good just to know someone else has walked the same path. It's nice to see you back.
