Welding

There are a lot of guidelines here and it varies by manufacturer.  Medtronic says under 160A, keep 2' from the arc.  Over 160A isn't safe.  I've seen differences between arc/MIG/TIG, too but I can never remember which is which.  Look this stuff up on the manufacturer's site.

Some precautions for any welding:

- Dry area

- Welding unit 5' away

- Keep wires close together

- Keep clamp close to weld

- Solid footing and all the normal safety measures

- If you feel weird, move away from the unit

correct

You are correct, MIG/TIG are ok, ARC is not.

You know you're wired when...

You have an excuse for being a couch potato.
