tattoos

OK this is probably a totally dumb question, but, here it is...is there any problem getting a tattoo when you have a pacemaker? For example is there any kind of electrical current or interference involved in the whole thing. I've never gotten one before so I don't know anything about it and I'm going in the next couple of weeks to get my first. Just wanted to make sure I'm not going to set something off or anything! Thanks!!

Just be sure just as pawgies said not above your PM. I got my Energizer Bunny a cople of weeks ago and none for the worse.

I was told by my Dr. I would need to take antibiotics before getting a tatoo. So not to get infected. Has nobody else been told this?

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
