Can I take radiation therapy with a Pacemaker (same side)

I don't think so. Haven't had one myself, but my pacemaker surgeon not so long ago told me - we were talking about placement of the pacer -, that he had just had a woman with breast cancer, and they had to move her pacemaker into her abdomen, so that she could safely undergo radiation therapy. Check back with your cardio or EP. Maybe it could also be moved to the other side, and not the abdomen.

Yes and No!
It depends on the pacemaker you have and the amount of radiation to be given. 2Gy of radiation is considered safe, though you need careful monitoring.

Any more radiation can damage the PM. You then need to have your PM re-sited.
