Does anyone know of a support group in the Los Angeles/Marina del Rey area?

Support groups

Hi Jean - The LA area has a number of true Centers of Excellence in healthcare. Cedars-Sinai is just one of the superb facilities in that area. If you will go to the American Heart Association website you will find a directory of groups with locations. Also, Mended Hearts has groups in many hospitals around Southern California so check their website as well. St. Vincents in LA has long been known as a cardiac center and has support groups. Little Company of Mary in Torrance also is a well-known cardiac care center. I imagine most of the other hospitals have similar support groups, too. You should be able to find the perfect group in a location that is convenient for you. Good luck and God bless.

Hi Jean,
Newport Beach is better; more cute guys around there.

lol! jk. I dont even know if Newport has one. But not kidding about the cute guys, hehehehe.

Anyway, back to topic: I do know that Cedars-Sinai Medical Center has a support group there. It's called "Heart Families" (yes, creative title isn't it? hahaha).
I'm not sure about Marina del Rey though. I'll check online and send you a message if I find anything.

Feel free to send a message anytime. I live in Anaheim but compute to Cedars where my doctor is.
Take care,

"compute"
goodness, that's what I get for typing while I'm about to fall asleep, lol
I meant "comumute". That bugged me, so I had to correct it, lol.

Thanks for the other info Sharon :)

maybe I should just stop correcting myself before I spell "commute" any worse.

I have a well tuned pacer. I hardly know I have it. I am 76 year old, hike and camp alone in the desert. I have more energy than I have had in a long time. The only problem is my wife wants to have a knob installed so she can turn the pacer down.
