Did your doctor want constant monitoring?

IF you want to have it with you all the time then I guess okay.  But my doctor only uses mine to check on a scheduled time/day.

I've had 10 pacers since 36yrs and am now 70.  I've only recently "acquired" a St. Jude monitoring blob next to my bed and got it set up late last year.  I've traveled with my wife around the planet without one of those devices.  I don't take it anywhere!!!

However, if you really need to have it then I'm sure you have a cell phone so that you can set it up to work through the phone.  Please realize that my answer is based on me and you may be having checks several times a day.  I tend not to think much about the fact I am being paced especially while I am cycling out on the road long distances 3 - 4 times a week.  So if your doctor said you need to be checked maybe all night (Wow!) then you probably would need to haul it along.  FOR ME (ONLY) I would prefer to just enjoy the trip.  Your decision?

My doctor doesn't check it daily. So I think I will leave it home. Am only going to be gone a week too.  Thanks for the comment.  Congrats on lots of biking at 70!

ask but probably leave it at home

My doctor said only take it if I'm gone longer than a month.

You know you're wired when...

You play MP3 files on your pacer.
