MYCARELINK HEART MOBILE APP

This Medtronic app was mentioned on an afib forum and I would be interested in knowing if anyone on this forum uses this app to send their pacemaker checkup information by smart phone to the Doctor or has information about it?

Hi, Flo. Yes, I have the MyCare app on my phone and it is set to send my first transmission on September 28th. I’ll know more about it AFTER that time ! I like the app and use it mostly to check my activity level. That is one of the “ tabs” you can check and see ( in graph form ) on your phone. It is motivating for me to be more active ! From what I read on this site, it should be easier to have our PM checked this way. Just got my PM in May, had my first device check June 30. So far, so good !!

I forgot to mention, my doctor’s office set up the date and time for my first transmission that will happen on 9/28/2020. I was unsure if I had to do something or if it went automatically. Lots to learn with this and I’m trying to learn all I can.

That's good to hear. I have a message into my doctors office asking if they transmit data from Pacemaker using this app.

Great app

I have it--after a comedy of errors trying to use the box and being told it was "discontinued," not supported," etc. (Mostly over weekends and deep into the lockdown in April, so slow responses by temp staff, etc...)  Works great, have had 4 transmissions so far,  one next month and then progresses to 3-month intervals. You can't use the app AND the box, btw.

Great app

Thanks for the reply. I received a note from my doctors office and unfortunately they do not use the app only the box.
