V-Tach

I am 100% pacer dependent and am on my 4th pacer and second Icd. I had my last change July 19th. I also have chf but ef has gone from 20% to 40%. My appointment at the pacer clinic today showed two short runs of v-tach Aug.2nd. I do remember one episode of pounding but not the second. The tech did not seem concered and made my next appointment for Dec

Am I overly concerned??

2 runs of V-Tach on the same day and the tech was not concerned probably means they were really short and not very fast. If you had a significant episode you would be getting a lot more tests. Dont' sweat it. But as good practice I would always get a copy of the pacemaker report and keep it in a file cabinet for your records that you can refer to.
