SO ANNOYING IDK WHAT TO DO!!!

Had a pacemaker last March of 2019 had to do a few adjustments, things where fan until my heart started beating fast, they put me on  verapamil on 180, then October they did more adjustments and I been ok since but I have one issue SEX I get anxiety idk what it is b4 I have sex or even self pleasure I know TMI but not all the time just once in a while my heart starts skipping and doing strange beats and pauses I wanna say like AFIB ish but they never really diagnosed me they just said I had tachycardia and that skips are normal for my condition unless it's super bad so this only happens during sex once and a while where I can't even finish or even scared to finish cuz my heart beats so dam strange, but yet I will

let it calm down  and jog or run in place fast and NOTHINGGGG!!!! Wtf why only during sexual activity is this happening to me so confused no one seems to have answers  and it's frustrating they already said my pacer is already fixed nothing much more they can do

No pay off

I don't know why this happens. You have been to the doctor and been assured that the skips are normal for your condition.

The way I see it you have three choices.

1. Give up sex. Lots of people do fine without it.

2. Resolve to die happy--in case your heart skipping beats while having sex does kill you.

3. Recognize what many of us have had to learn. Focusing on and getting upset about an erratic heartbeat never, never, never pays off. It never makes you feel better. It never makes you more in control. It never allays your anxiety. It never makes you happy.

You can't control your heartbeat, but you can control how much you let it upset you.

If you need professional help dealing with anxiety, get it.

AFib???

I just had my fist adjustment and complained about my heart feeling funny. I have a Lattiude device that the PM Clinic gave me and sent in my pacing remotely. Long story short when my heart was racing it was AFib. They prescribed me beat blocker meds as the pacemaker doesn't help with AFib. So maybe see if you can find out the rythm you are in and maybe get some meds to calm your heart down? Talk to you doctor of course. Sex is super important in my life too so I get it! Good luck

You know you're wired when...

You can feel your fingers and toes again.
