The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.
Lyme disease

Hello QPR1980,
I was extensively tested for Lyme Disease some years ago but results were negative. I went on later to get diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ME. It was at this time that I was found to have heart rhythm abnormalities. I too have a pacemaker for bradycardia. I have copied a link below in case any members want to read about Lyme Disease. (Having trouble with the link so have copied another for reference).
As far as Lyme Disease causing a compromised immune system goes, I presume you were treated for your Lyme Disease (with antibiotics?) at the time of diagnosis and that your acute symptoms have eased. I realise though that some patients go on to develop long term chronic symptoms which may be difficult to treat. What is your position now ?
In answer to your question about self isolation, I believe ideally we should all practise self isolation/social distancing as far as possible to reduce the spread of Coronavirus and to protect ourselves and others. Providing your Lyme Disease was well treated at diagnosis and your pacemaker is now helping to treat your bradycardia, I do not believe you are highly immune compromised, but only your doctors can really answer this question since they will know your full medical history.
