Does anyone get ...

Kind of a prickly feeling around their device ?

I’m using my left arm more I know ... even woke up on my left side this morning .

In my mind the feeling is almost like wires moving .... I m pretty sure that not it .. kind of a prickly sharp sensation

Sharp Sensation

Yes...  to me it felt like sharp ant bites.

Apparently not everyone feels it but it is the nerves regenerating.  It comes and goes but will stop after awhile.

Sounds like nerves knitting back together. Feels kind of funky but it's normal.

Nerves

I agree with Tracey, sounds like nerves which can get kinda angry with any type of surgical procedure. I've had a few surgical procedures before I had my ICD put in, that were related in no way to this, but had those pin prickley sensations, sometimes described them as little zaps. I work with a massage therapist who would go over different sensations I was experiencing in and around the area where the ICD is and your description would be one he would assume is "grumpy" nerves as well.

It was several months before mine went away, although now at 11 months out I might experience it randomly for a second or two.

You know you're wired when...

Airport security welcomes you.

A properly implanted and adjusted pacemaker will not even be noticeable after you get over the surgery.
