Experiencing weird symptoms

I wanted to post here and seen if anyone had or has similar symptoms to mine. I keep thinking it’s stress (I’m almost 3 weeks post PM), but not sure.

Im a 30 year old male and consider myself pretty healthy. Pre pacemaker I started having these wave of doom feelings come over me, and I would almost passout. Went to the ER and they found nothing. My primary care recommended a Holter monitor, and they ended up seeing a 5 second complete av node block.

I had also complained about sore hips the week before, cafe soreness, and 2 days before the PM I started having muscle twitches( about 10 episodes a day any where on my body. The infectious dease staff at the hospital interviewed me and determined after two negative Lyme tests that I didn’t have lyme.

They did the electrophysiology test and confirmed I have an intermittent 3rd deg block below the av node. So I got a dual lead pacemaker.

Now post PM implant I had a lump feeling in my throat  that didn’t go away for several days, and still have a sore throat from it. Also I still have the muscle twitching throughout the day. The twitches are these small skin movements that look and almost feel like a worm under the skin. I saw that others here had the lump feeling and it went away over time, I’m really most concerned with the muscle twitches, and almost feel like it’s a symptom that goes along that the av node block.

Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Steve

Twitching

I am 5 weeks post ICD op, I have had the twitching. Consider what that part of your body has been through. Muscle fibres destroyed and repairing, swelling, and in a complete change to your normal movement pattern. The twitching is likely a result of the stress on the body and muscles. Its not uncommon to get the same twitches in limbs after exercise or in the eye lid when you are exhausted.

The throat could be infection, the body is in overdrive during recovery and if you are susceptible to sore throats or tonsillitis it could easily be bought on because of what you have been through.

You know you're wired when...

You have a little piece of high-tech in your chest.
