I'm moving to another city, anything I should tell my cardiologist before moving?

I'm moving roughly 500 miles south of where I reside now and I'm not sure if I need to let my doctor know or not. I know I scan my pacemaker with a device every six months or so I can imagine it may be thrown off if I am residing in another city. Am I overthinking this or should I let my doctor know so proper precautions should take place?

P.S I got a copy of my medical records from the office but have not spoken with the doctor yet at all.

Thanks,

You are over-thinking this

Just move and find another EP as quickly as you can. Don't worry about the downloads.  Let your new doctor worry about all that stuff.

OTOH, you might ask your current EP who's good in your new city and ask for a referral. It might help get in a little quicker.  Or not. Don't procrastinate, though.  You may need an EP and you really don't want an EP who can't get enough patients. ;-)/2

Doc, it's over between us, I'm leaving you... GOODBYE

You have a 25 year mortgage on your device.
