Root Canal Post Pacemaker installation

Dear All,

My dad a pacemaker implanted in September last year and he is doing OK with it. In recent days he was having a toothache and he had to see a doctor. The doctor has suggested root canal but has asked for a written confirmation from the Heart Dr. Looking into all these we are a bit tensed that should we go ahead and do it or look for any other option. My dad is 61 now.
