2nd PACEMAKER

So was in hospital yesterday 30/10/18 ... Had pacemaker check and only found out that I don’t use my pacemaker........ BUT the hospital replaced pacemaker and bottom lead on the 27/06/18 knowing I don’t use it and since then I had pain.... adjustment of pacemaker on the 17/09/18 caught infection on the 23/09/18 due to relocation,,,, And to find out surgeon on last 2 ocassions had on his notes ( if patient has any more issues with pacemaker I would recommend that his pacemaker be took out as he has not used it for years ) So if this is the case why did these operations go ahead this year causing me pain and infection ? So anyone else ever had these issues ?
