My pacemaker( St Jude Abbott) was placed about a month ago and I have set up the at home monitor(Merlin@Home) which I received. I read that it is possible to check my data which is gathered by the monitor on my home computer.
I checked out the Pacemaker Club page and was offered a Medtronic Carelink option...but was rejected due to a problem with my serial number.
I am wondering if anyone has experience setting up a carelink type option with St Jude Abbott and Merlin @home?
Thanks.

look in the documentation you got with your Merlin home monitor, and call the tech support number provided, they will be happy to step you through set-up. If you're in North America call 1-877-MY-Merlin (1-877-696-3754) M-F 8 - 8

St Jude's Merlin

I had a St Jude PM implanted 10 days ago and also have a Merlin near my bed. I had a PM check at my EP's office 3 days later and they checked to see if my Merlin was shaking hands with the clinic and sending data, and it is. They said that it is set to send a report to them if anything exceeds the parameters set by my EP and that they check for reports every morning.
I just looked through the papers they gave me and also didn't see any instructions about setting up a connection with my home computer so if you find out anything interesting, I'd also like to know (though I also am not sure I want to monitor myself!) Good luck with this.
myMerlin for ConfirmRx app

Hi! The app you're referring to is the myMerlin for ConfirmRx app. This app is used to communicate with the Abbott ConfirmRx "loop recorder." There is not an app designed for use with the Merlin@home transmitter or devices compatible with the Merlin@home transmitter.

Medtronic...

I have a Medtronic ICD and set up the carelink. 1) don't think it would work with another manufacturers product so you probably have to set up the Merlin@home software or some such thing. 2) The report I get really tells me nothing, only last time/date it downloaded and if it was successful. Very disappointed but may be because I have an ICD and am not always paced (it has pacing capabilities if/when needed).
There should be more info on the manufacturers web site. Good luck!
