I was sitting quite close to the tv set, switched off, when I heard a faint metallic "Ping...Ping..." and so on.
I looked around, nothing nearby to account for it. Felt my wrist pulse, it was in time with the pulse. Got up, ping speeded up with pulse. Then it faded away. Not happened since.
Is there a miniature J Arthur Rank man beating a gong inside my pm? How odd!
I'm mystified.

See the post by Aviar on 8/03/18 titled "Is this normal". It sounds like the same thing. Might be some useful info for you on there.

...Northwest Orient Airlines, rather than J. Arthur Rank. (How's that for irrelevant history?) <G>

Well donr, I was born BFF (Before Fred Flintstone!)
Then you must know...

...my Mother-in-law! She used to tell our kids tales of hunting dinosaurs with stone tipped spears. Always complained about the puny size of filet mignon compared to Tyranosaurus Rex steaks.

You fondly named your implanted buddy.

Yesterday I moved to a new place in my mind and realized how bad I felt 'before' and the difference my pacemaker has made.
How old is your pacemaker?

It sounds like some sort of alarm, like a low battery alarm. Call the people who service your pacemaker or your EP. If you have a remote monitor, they should be able to tell what it is using that. Not something to ignore.
