Hope everyone is well. I haven’t posted in quite some time. Guess that means all is ok. My hubby just bought me the apple watch ⌚️ with the idea that i can call quickly in case of emergency. But, just tonight reading the info about it, it says that because of the magnet it could interfere with my pace maker. Which is a st. Judes two lines forMobitz 2. Any feedback would be do appreciated. Thanks in advance.

interference

God I hate to agree with theknotguy, but he's right nothing to worry about. If you still have doubts, wear your watch and download a report, guarantee there will be no sign of interference on your report.
Thanks to the real patch and the knotguy

Hi
I had a similar question to Pm's and I just asked Apple who simply referred me to my consultant so I've emailed him. "The real Patch" suggested above downloading a report after wearing one but I can't do that with my pacemaker - unless of course he means downloading from the watch rather than the pacemaker. But that means buying the watch before knowing and that would be a lot of money to shell out if there was a problem.
So how's it gone Pm after wearing your watch for over a year?
You know you're wired when...
You have a T-shirt that reads Wired4Sound.

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.
I don't think a problem

Most of those warnings are CYA by the manufacturer. They put the warning on the unit in case you get a hiccup with your pacemaker and decide to sue them for whatever. That way if you get a hiccup and feel it's their problem and decide to sue, they can point to the warning and say it isn't their problem. It doesn't have anything to do with the unit bothering the pacemaker.
Got one of those electric chain saws and, of course, it had the warning on it not to use it if you have a pacemaker. Cut down a 30 foot tree and did all the trimming with the chain saw. No problems with the pacemaker. My neighbor suggested I might have some problems if I held the chain saw upside down directly over top of the pacemaker and started cutting that way. I asked him if he'd ever seen anyone cut something that way with a chain saw. He hadn't. I told him he wasn't going to see me do it that way either.
I work with a lot of electronic stuff and have one of those strap-on fitbit units. No problems with the pacemaker. Even if you place your apple watch over the top of your pacemaker site I don't feel it's anywhere near large enough to bother your pacemaker. So go ahead and enjoy.
