Sarcoidosis

I got my pacemaker in early December, and am new to this group,  I can't even tell you how helpful you all have been! Thanks so much for sharing your excperiences, information, knowledge, and advice.

I'm wondering who else here has been diagnosed with complete heart block due to cardiac sarcoidosis.  What happened to you and how did you get your diagnosis?  I am very interested in any feedback.

I was diagnosed with cardiac sarcoidosis six weeks ago and also have complete heart block. I have now got a CRT-D. I went to a specialist direct, as my soon to be ex local doctor told me my symptoms were normal and nothing to worry about. (shortness of breath, light headedness etc) The specialist sent me straight to hospital and I got the implant 3 days later.

I have also found this group a useful source of information and are interested in other peoples experiances as there doesn't seem to be a lot of info about cardiac sarcoidosis.
