I am 71yrs old retired and have just had a pacemaker fitted not because I have been suffering from the usual symptoms but because my heart stopped working while under general aneasthetic before surgery started.
I have read the pathlets on the subject, before I considered myself as very fit and now know my way of life will change but what I don’t know is how much.
In my interest I forgot to mention was that I love to cook, and in doing all my interest I use a lot of machinery especially while in the kitchen and the workshop
can you tell me if there is ways I can use the workshop equipment: metal lathe, pillar drills, welding machines both arc and mag welding sets, any tips for using electrical kitchen equipment. And gardening machinery and engines
Thank you
paul

The only thing you listed that might be a problem is arc welding. Keep the pacer 6" from a running engine, which you probably do anyway. Anything else should be fine. Newer pacers are very well shielded and not much affects them. Live your life and don't worry about it.
If you do a search of old posts, arc welding comes up regularly.
