3 days in!

I just received my device on Tuesday and joined today.  I have been reading the site for the last several weeks and have found this to be the best place for information so far.

Hi there, and welcome to this electric, eclectic site. We are powered up to go and help each other.  There is indeed more than a spark of life in this club. We remember the life saving properties of having a pacemaker/ICD, and the fact that 95% of people never have any problems and have increased quality of life. 

So far this site's information has not been of use for winning the lottery; you can't have everything, but it's good to see you have hope!

For the most part the docs dont tell yoh much about the recovery and things / feelings that may happen.

For me it was almost 3.5 months before I stopped thinking about "Sparky" and got back to my normal life.
