Sharp needle like pain in the center of chest

Hi Guys,

I have my pacemaker since 3 years ago, last month i had my what the call "interrogation" it's a yearly checkup with a machine. now after that i noticed a sharp stabbing / needle like pain in the center of my chest and sometimes at my heart. my schedule at work is 6:00am - 3:00pm is it because of my schedule? i wake up early and sometimes i still feel sleepy at the office. do you think im going to need to adjust my schedule? i'm out of breath sometimes too. how do you guys cope with this? im taking medicine that reduces my palpitations too (my doctor gave it to me), do you think that also affects me?

I'm 26 by the way and the idea of my heart giving up scares me to be honest.

Pains

Your post caused me to think of questions:

Were pm settings changed at the last interrogation?  Is the medicine for palpitations new or modified? Is this new pain a new problem unrelated to the pm? All these should be considered and then reviewed with the doctor or if severe pain go to the ER.

I wouldn't be alive if it wasn't for pacemakers. I've had mine for 35+ years. I was fainting all of the time and had flat-lined also. I feel very blessed to live in this time of technology.
