Hello All, Noticed today I am having a vibration sensation intermittently over the area of my pacemaker. It feels as though I have a cell phone over the area in vibration mode. Is this something to be concerned about. Thank you for your help

Vibration/Buzzing

As Selwyn said, some devices have patient notifies that vibrate. I had a similar feeling about 3 weeks post implant. I felt a mild vibration or buzzing feeling a little below the device. I called St Jude and they told me that my device does not vibrate... it has a tone for a notifier. I then call my cardiologist, who scheduled a device check. Everything checked out ok but made some minor adjustments. No one seemed to be quite sure why I was feeling what I was feeling, but it has not happen since. You should call your cardiologist to be sure your settings are right for you.
good luck!
You know you're wired when...
You can feel your fingers and toes again.

The experience of having a couple of lengths of wire fed into your heart muscle and an electronic 'box' tucked under the skin is not an insignificant event, but you will survive.

This is a feature of the PM that tells you you need to have it checked out.
You should contact whoever is responsible for the medical care of your pacemaker.
