Doctor

Hello everyone. I have a second opinion coming up next week and it was suppose to be with a certain doctor (Calkins) but i got a call today that they were suggesting i see Dr. Charles Love instead. Has anyone ever been to him?? This is in the US.

I have heard Dr. Love speak several times on the XM  radio cardiology program from NYU Langone Medical Center.where he practices. He is a very experienced and qualified electrophysiologist and does MRI's on patients with non-MRI-compatible pace makers and has extracted over 8,000 leads.  If you have either of these issues or even less complicated issues, I believe you are definately seeing one of the best electrophysiologists in that field of specialty. If you don't mind me asking, what is the issue you will be consulting with him about??

It's a second opinion for a pace maker which i am certain will be done due to recent events. The doctor i am scheduled with right now is at Hopkins and is my current EP's boss. This would be my first time meeting with either of them but i became comfortable with the thought of Dr. Calkins and now that may change so im a bit nervous.
