Decided to join the club

Hi

i have made a decision to have a CRTP implanted today! I have congenital heart disease, left bundle branch block and intermittent AV second degree block. I had an ablation for atrial tachycardia last week and during the EP study they tested the confuction. I have been told I will 200% need a pacemaker in the future, what is undecided is when I might need it, 2 weeks, 2 months or 2 years. I have made the decision that in view of the fact that I will have to have one at some point I might as well go ahead. For the last year I have struggled with intermittent symptomatic bradycardia which leaves me never knowing from one day to the next how I will be. It's impossible to plan anything, I'm off work and I am hoping that my decision will go some way to helping address some of my symptoms. Glad to have found this site, I can identify with many of the posts and I love the little 'You know you're wired when.........' quotes. Thanks for reading. x

If you know you'll need it one day but have symptoms now, why wait?!  Hope you get to feeling better soon.

One week has passed and I must admit that each day I feel a little stronger.
