Hello Everyone !
I haven't been on for many months because of dealing with new medical diagnosis. I have been diagnosed with neuropathy. But, the disease caused other problems to my health. My soles of my feet are swollen or feel that way. Toes swollen, top of foot burning and tender. I loss muscle in Achilles heel, legs, chest and arms. Also, had GI, constipation and gyno problems. I went to many, many doctors. The cause is unknown. In this experience ..the next pacemaker will be ok with MRI. Anyway 2 questions **** does anyone have neuropathy and what pacemaker is ok for MRI ?? Thanks !!

I have gone to every specialist known to man to find cause. I was already seeing a neurologist for seizures since 28. I also see cardio doc for NCS. I first went to infectious disease doc to rule out anything. Lists of docs go on and on. No cause yet ! Definitely learned how important a compatible pacemaker to MRI is.

Neuropathy and pain

hi,sorry to hear of your issues.
neuropathy can be linked to diabetes, and spine issues ,trap nerves etc,you really have to root out what your issues are and seek advice from a neuro seurgeon,,ive heard that meds for deppresion can help,it kind of talks to your brain where it sends out pain messages to your body, and sometimes it can ease such a nasty pain.Neuropathy can also mess with your entire system, just keep talking to the proffesionals.
regarding the pace maker in mri situations, they have many diffrent types, tell your heart team what you want and why.
good luck and keep us posted .
In the uk you kind of get what your given unless you go private.
