nothing to worry about

I dont see how it could hurt you works off a coin cell battery, etc.   It might not give the right heart rate depending on the kind you have as our signals might not be "normal" sounding/looking but it cant hurt you...

search for this and other heart rate monitors for more comments, or wait for folks to respond here, nothing to worry about but you will see a few dozen other opinions on the matter...

Thanks

I emailed my pacemaker company and also Samsung because I have a Gear Fit. I was told to keep it six inches away from my pacemaker and it will be fine.

The battery is tiny so that shouldn't be a concern (worry more about your cell phone). The fitbit tracks pulse by shining a light through your skin and watching blood vessels contract. It *might* not give you an accurate reading as its smarts were trained on people without PMs. That is, if your heart rate jumps around in ways that don't happen in normal people its algorithms might not be equipped to reflect that accurately. Having said that, I've used on before and it seemed to be pretty accurate.
