Hair Stylist

Is there any other hair stylists on here? I had my pm put in April... 2 weeks after I delivered my son. I am back from maternity leave to work fully on July 10th. I have been working for 3-4 hours on Thursdays the last month with no issues. This week I did 4 hours yesterday and another 4 today and I am sore at the incision site. I am nervous about my full schedule in a week. Anyone have experience with this and what did you do?

Yeah, not surprised you are sore! Your body has been through a lot. Ice will help. Nothing is wrong and you won't damage anything, it's just going to take time to fully heal and for the scar tissue to build up around the device. It took me 3-4 months to get to that point but I hadn't just had a baby, I have a pacemaker not an icd (smaller) and I don't work with my arms all day. Ice, ice, ice.

doing your best at work.

Had my ICD implant 3 days ago. Anyone have any idea when I can get back to cutting hair, mixing color and blow drying hair.

I was on maternity leave when mine was put in. I had 12 weeks off and I was really sore after 4 hours at that point. Everyone is different so I can't say that will be our scenario but I hope it helps. What did your Dr say?

You know you're wired when...

You name your daughter “Synchronicity”.
