Added something new to my bucket list, Via Ferrata. What's on your bucket list?

maybe next year....

would love to paddle the Caledonia canal in Scotland, and or along the west coast of Scotland, so weather dependant though.

Combine your Via ferrata with a trip to the Dolomites, great scenery and you get a holiday too.

Any plans on when you will do it??

maybe August

Hopefully soon!  I'll be near one in August. Bobsled is also on the list for that trip, that's been on the list for years but we never seem to get around to it.

Paddling Caledonia sounds wonderful!

Ok Adventure Girl...

God forbid you should ever get bored, girl, with everything you are always doing for fun (so glad for you!)... Just promise me that when you go blasting off into whatever space adventures are ahead for you that you WILL always use the safety cables, as dull as that is...

Although I did not surf, zip line, or resume downhill skiing in the last few years as I wanted, I'd love to just resume golf, bowling and line dancing when I get my energy and stamina back, presumably after this next lead correction Thursday, lol... I do intend to again use a couple of safe endarounds for swimming sooner this next time, which I can't live without (shhhh, don't tell anyone), would love to finish remodeling my kitchen if I can be home long enough, and dream about blowing an opening in my living room wall for french doors and a deck. That's all the "excitement" or buckets I need right now, but love hearing about everyone else's excitement... Good to dream and do all you can, when you can, never knowing when you can't... Next??

boredom

I don't get bored! But you may have figured that out by now. ;oP  Part of me will always be that kid who wasn't allowed to play sports and was always told to go sit down in gym class. A whole new world opened up for me when I got that first pacemaker. About 5 years ago, I started actively choosing things I am afraid of or that I never thought I could do.

If you watch the video on the via ferrata link, there's a wire and you are double tethered the whole way. It's not free climbing. I just got off the phone with my daughter who lives there. She says the tether is cheating and that's fake rock climbing. I said I'm ok with that lolol

Bucket List / Vacatio

I love all the comments, and I am going to start my bucket list now.  I had a difficult time with my PM, and was extremely weak for months -- but feel better everyday!  My entire life has changed.  Now I work out every other day, eat healthy, get more sleep, avoid news overdose, keep positive thoughts, and try to live without stress.  The bucket list is a sensational idea for me.  After a few local trips I am going to plan that Utah adventure.  Thanks for the site!  It looks like fun!  I hope others add ideas!  :0)

You know you're wired when...

Airport security gives you free massages.

So, my advice is to go about your daily routine and forget that you have a pacemaker implanted in your body.
