Welding

I have a medtronic sedrl1 pacemaker fitted and want to know if i can tig weld scratch start ?

My booklet from another company says no.

Arc Welding

I commented at this site on the 11th of this month concerning this. Arc welding is one of the few activities that needs caution.  I don't think I would want to push my luck using this sort of high voltage equipment .

I am sure Thumbcoast's advice is sound.

Parfab,

I went to the Medtronic website and it has a whole electromagnetic compatibility guide.  I PM'd you earler but that was on my phone and it wouldn't let me send it to you.  If you look at the bottom it says no welders.
