Heart rate

So, nearly 8 months in with my pacemaker.  Back in October I was fitted with the pacemaker as my heartbeat was dropping down to 30 ish BPM and missing beats.  After leaving hospital I was still feeling very unwell and spent several weeks laid up.  Whilst laid up, my BPM was pretty much consistently around the 63 mark (my pacemaker set at 60bpm). As I began to feel better in the following months my activity levels increased. My BPM is now in the 80's and 90's at rest. This is too high for a 48 year old? I am active and have been back at work for 4 months. I still have a fullness feeling in my throat, felt like that since the wires went in on the operating table. Still have a dry cough, always feel like I need to clear my throat plus my Sinuses are more or less always blocked on one side or the other since the implantation. I have an appointment with the tech person next week and could ask questions but when I did on the first visit 6 months ago all I got was a string of don't knows. My GP prefers this option too.

      Thanks,

                   Phil

Sorry you are feeling this way, Phil.  I'm struggling with the throat fullness too and hopefully some of the more veteran members can help you with the questions you have. I'm only 3 weeks in.  I'm 49 so we are close in age too.  I'm getting really annoyed with the "I dont know" answers too.  Just wanted to offer my support.  I hope you feel better soon.
