I feel it every single time. How are some of you not feeling this??!! It's not pain but not comfortable really either. I had my 2nd "interrogation" today and the tech (?) said that the voltage will go down after the leads are well secured in the heart (or something to that effect) and I shouldn't feel it as much. It's kinda annoying. But then, so is being dead from an untreated arrythmia...lol. I'll deal with it.

You explained it better than I remembered her saying...haha. Thank you. I feel the tests too.
It's so.....odd....

Sometimes we are feeling the heart, not really the pacing. We get used to the feeling of a slow heart, so it can take some time for a normal rate to feel normal. My rate more than doubled with the pacer and I was aware of it for a good year after.
You know you're wired when...
You read consumer reports before upgrading to a new model.

I had a pacemaker since 2002 and ever since then my life has been a total blessing.
Not everyone feels it

I feel all kinds of stuff....PVC's, PAC's, the self-check, the interrogation tests. You get used to it after a while.
In your case right now, the voltage is high until your heart gets used to pacing and the leads embed as the tech stated. They will lower the voltage after a couple of months or so and it will feel much better. Probably at your next interrogation.
