Just had PM implanted last week. Went for routine check up, found heart rate 35/min with complete heart block. A long winded way of saying I got lucky. Thanks very much to the folks who make this website possible and to those who contribute useful suggestions and share their experiences.
For me, so far the only real problem I have is related to anxiety likely due to my over-thinking most everything!

Complete congenital heart block (level three block from birth). 30 years with a pacer and going.
I had an empty feeling inside, literally as I could hear and feel each pulse before the pacer fixed that, took a while to deal with, now I pretty much forget I have the thing until I bump it or have an appointment.
Congrats

Congratulations on getting new lease on life. I just passed my 1 yr anniversary of receiving my pm. Life has improved greatly.
Hope recovery and after recovery is at least as good for you.

I feel so blessed to have this little gem implanted in me. When I think of the alternative it is quite overwhelming sometimes.
Glad you made it here

Give a bit of time, you'll be back to your regular self again.
I had 3rd degree Right Bundle Branch Block. I kinda had gotten use to being light headed, with the 20 BPM. I thought I saw an angel but soon released it was a young Nurse (could have been an angel).
