I'm not a doctor and wouldn't think of trying to diagnose what is going on with you.
In my opinion, it behooves anyone with a pacemaker to learn as much as they can about the heart's conduction system and about how pacemakers work to correct conduction system problems.
When we understand our condition we are able to ask better questions, and it also helps so that we don't feel so out of control and helpless.
The internet offers resources galore, and you can find a gazillion animations on youtube of how the heart works. Here is just one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RYZ4daFwMa8
It will tell you what the S/A node is, where it is, and what it's function is.
Knowledge is power.
