Happy birthday pacemaker

Hi everyone. It's been a year today since I had my pacemaker inserted for heart block 2nd degree. It wasn't an easy start and I experience many problems until it was finally tweaked right in June 2016. Didn't help the fact I had vestibular problems at the same time and I thought palpatations shaking head and unsteadiness was my heart it wasn't. Still getting over that however my health has improved and I can cycle 30 miles and will increase it in time as I love cycling. I teach spin classes and I'm fine. At times I do think about my PM but it sits quietly now and takes care of me. I no longer worry but stay positive and focus on well being listening to Abraham hicks has helped me. My anxiety and depression levels are so much better. I want to a big thank you to this site for bringing us together. For the support and advice we offer each other from our knowledge and experiences have been a great source throughout my year and many more years to come. As technology improves hopefully we will benefit and improve our lives. Again big thank you to you all.

Dear Liz , You just sent me a comforting message!! I am glad your are getting back to what you love. Mine is swimming! I want to do that this week! ( If I get my nerve up) I have had mine 4 months, still scary for me ( as you know) It is reassuring that things will get better and my anxiety will lift. It really has alot already. I no longer stay awake at night ( very often) And am exercising and getting my appetite back in control. Going out with friends etc!! Glad you are here with us, thank you again for the help! Many healthy years to come! Ileen

Thank you
