Why ?

I have just had an  E-mail from the British Heart Foundation asking if I am willing to Sky Dive to raise funds ,

While it is an admirable charity and does many good things for UK heart patients , could anyone explain why they want to kill me ?

""could anyone explain why they want to kill me ?""

Because you have proven incompetent in achieving that goal on your own and they're tired of the wait ?

I receive offers of free cremation weekly from the Neptune society. Apparently they aren't picky about me being dead first.

Ian, Maybe they have read your many witty remarks on the PM club and have decided that a guy with your obvious talents could tackle just about anything.  Perhaps they are anticipating the very entertaining and knowledgeable report you would give of the incident once you stopped screaming.  You must have come to their attention somehow.  Any idea of what that might be?  Here' a bit of advice:  If at first you don't suceed, don't try sky diving.

A time to kill. . ..or not

I don't know why someone would want to kill you, but if they do, I think you are looking at the offer in the wrong way.

If they are willing to pay for the chute, the training, and the plane to jump out of, I say do it. Not everyone who jumps from a plane dies.

If perchance you aren't killed,  you could have the last laugh.
