I hadn't heard of the Watchman Procedure and I'm wondering if others are familiar with it . . .   Here is link to an information page from the FDA.

Watchman procedure.

From my understanding, the Watchman procedure inserts a block into a cavity inside the atrial where clots can form from afib or as I go into, a flutter.  My understanding is taht it does not stop any a fib or flutter but to get a patient off blood thinners.  I have listed some web sites.  I am considering the procedure.  I have been taking Xarelto for about 4 years now and will probably never get off of it.  So far I have had 2 ablations, a cardioversion, and three pacemakers.
