Yoga

Hi all

I have a question. I regularly do plank , bow pose and cobra pose. I have no problem but somewhere i read that these poses can pull out leads. My pacemaker is near my left armpit . I don't know I should continue or not with these poses . Seeking advices

As long as it's not uncomfortable, it's perfectly safe once you heal. Leads are soft and flexible, designed to move with us.  The biggest risk is irritating the scar tissue, which can be painful but won't damage the pacer or leads. Yoga is gentle, many of us are a lot harder on our leads and they are still fine.

I do the poses you mentioned.  My leads don't mind but sometimes my back complains with the bow pose.  I'm sure you know how to listen to your body.

There is plenty of slack in the leads and the extra wire is coiled up and placed behind the device.

I've had my device for 8 years and it is near my left armpit too.  Sometimes the device can feel uncomfortable but I adjust and continue the pose with no problem.

Thanks
