Encouraging that there were no deaths and no-one got fried from the inside !

I've often wondered how they get " volunteers" for these studies

Ian

Thank you.

MRI

by azkaren - 2017-02-24 17:50:33

I have a pinched nerve in my neck. In order for dr to inject something into it he ordered an mri. My pacemaker, installed 6-2014, is Medtronic and ok for mris. I couldn't find an imaging place that would do it. I'm having a ct scan instead.

From what I have heard that is still a problem.

Even with the MRI qualified device the protocol requires that it be put in safe state and then the setting be returned afterwards. So that eliminates an free standing MRI's.

Your anxiety is normal. It takes some of us a little time to adjust to the new friend. As much as they love you, family and friends without a device just cannot understand the adjustment we go through. That is why this site is so valuable.
