MRI compatible pacemaker

I am scheduled to have an MRI as I have a compatible pacemaker. Has anyone had MRI with their pacemaker?

i have a St Jude Pacemaker which is four years old.

in that time I've had two MRI's. There are some scanners about where you cannot have your MRI because of your pacemaker.

The problems are caused by the powerful magnets in the machine.

I had a MRI with a medtronic pm  that was 2 years old.  Pacemaker was NOT compatible, and I had four leads, 2 were dead.  I had no problems.  Good luck.
