Many of us have given our pacemakers names. Mine is Mon Coeur--because it is the heart of my heart. Glad your experience is so good. Since most of the time, people post about problems, it's easy to forget that for most people getting a pacmaker is getting a new lease on life.

Ian--Pacemakers are born androgynous. The host can choose to assign it a sex or no sex at all. Everybody knows that!

Nobody really expected or wanted to have a pacemaker but once you've got one , you're stuck with it 

If I lived  in the U.S. I think I would call my pacemaker Trump !

Mine got called Myrtle by my husband and friends because all I kept doing when I first got it was moaning - Harry Potter reference! They knew if I named it I would grow to like it eventually - seems they were right 😀

I got my pacemaker 1 and 1/2 years ago. I feel great. No problems. I named it PEACHES.

I live in the USA and the last name I would choose for my PM would be Trump.  I would worry about all of the false promises and faulty performance statements.  I would be trying to impeach my PM.
