Today, I was walking the dogs as usual, had stopped and before I knew it, I was face first in the grass! My husband saw it all, not very graceful! My chest hurt terribly. I was not short of breath or anything! Crazy! Now I am wondering if I had an event! I feel fine. Came home and decided to send a transmission, just in case and I'll call the doc tomorrow. Of course, I ache from falling, but am worried something inside may be damaged . Anything like this ever happen to you? Thanks.
I did not trip on anything.

I was with my dog when he (probably) suddenly bolted towards our house from across the street. I landed on my head, one leg all twisted, onto the asphalt road. Came to when two men in a car were yelling 'are you alright?'
I hurt all over but with some assistance, got into my home. Due to a severe concussion and my leg being all twisted, I could not think properly.
Luckily, I missed my pacemaker check a few days later, they called and insisted I come in immediately. After checking the pacemaker, it was determined to be the dog, not Vach. My doctor told me he wasn't worried about the pacemaker being damaged, as they are very sturdy and during a fall, even onto a road, the ribs have enough 'give' to protect the pacemaker.
glad you're sending in a report but don't worry too much.
all the best

Before getting my Pace Maker, I passed out while gettinig on my bike. X-rays revealed a fractured rib (very painful). Apparently I fell onto the pedal. Diagnosed with a LBBB and bradycardia.,,,Go figure??? .

Happy to report, everything is fine, just a little achy! My EP doc is the best! They wanted me to come in and have it checked. They said these things are pretty tuff...good to know!
You know you're wired when...
You have a shocking personality.

At age 20, I will be getting a pacemaker in few weeks along with an SA node ablation. This opportunity may change a five year prognosis into a normal life span! I look forward to being a little old lady with a wicked cane!
