Pacemaker size/feel

Hello,

Here to bother you all again. as most of you all know that i recently had my generator replacement. my first pacemaker was Vitatron JADE 3SSI. it saved my life and lasted 10 yrs. during my replacement they didnt change the lead. my new generator model is Medtronic EN1SR01(Ensura SR MRI). my main concern right now is. its been 22 days and whenever i try to reach my right shoulder by my left hand i can feel the pacemaker solidness in my left chest. it is a very discomfort kind of a feeling. has anyone faced something like this? arent all pacemaker the same size? can it be because of the size? is it because its still in a healing process?? How long it will take to be normal and i wont feel the solidness whenever i move my left hand to right side. i am quiet worried at the moment. please suggest.

Thank you.

Regards,

I.T

They are not all the same size, and sometimes they don't put them in the exact same place as the last one. I'm feeling my newest one, also! Got it in February. It doesn't hurt anymore but I do feel it when I move my arm the wrong way or sleep on my left side too long. Kind of annoying, but much better than it was that first month or two.

Same here

I can't reach too far across my body with my left arm for the same reason. It isn't terrible, just uncomfortable. Mine has been in for 2 months now.

Thank you Tracye
